Vigo (Galicia, Spain) May 2019 - Quality Espresso, a leading company in the professional espresso machine sector, is set to take part in the XIII Edition of the Fórum Café Barista Championships, which will be held in the auditorium of the Fundación Obra Social Avanca in Vigo from the 16th-18th May, and will present its products to those present (professionals from the sector, roasters and baristas) in the Coffee Area, in the Sala Pilares.

Attendees will also be able to take part in demonstrations and test the new Futurmat Sensius model, a new machine designed for baristas, which is reliable, robust, boasts the latest technology and has a contemporary design inspired by the Italian avant-garde, as well as the new La Reale model, a premium machine which, staying true to Italian tradition, has a modern and elegant design reminiscent of the 50's, the decade during which the Gaggia brand gained prominence throughout the world and became the leading brand for professional espresso machines. The Q10 series grinder will also be on display, this being the fastest model on the market and the only one to offer three different settings: pre-grinding, instant grinding and manual grinding. 

Rubén Sanz, a coffee expert at Quality Espresso, will participate in the championship as the lead judge in the I Semifinal of the Barista Championship and as presenter in the II Commercial Blend Awards and I Speciality Blend Awards.

Quality Espresso invites all those present to visit it in the Sala Pilares and test its Sensius and La Reale machines. Here, a team of experts from Quality Espresso will be on hand to assist and advise.

Together with Vodafone, at the largest technology event in the world, Quality Espresso presents its Smartia system, which connects coffee machines to transform the lives of businesses and people

MWC 2019 (Mobile World Congress), the largest international trade fair for the latest technological advances, took place in Barcelona this week. 

On its stand, Vodafone, a technological partner of Quality Espresso, exhibited a Futurmat coffee machine connected to the Smartia system. The state-of-the-art system includes an ARM CortexLink processor that provides fast and efficient Machine-to-Machine communication.

Smartia is an intelligent connectivity system used to remotely control and manage the efficiency and productivity of professional coffee machines. An online dashboard enables users to monitor, manage and analyse machine operation and performance. The Smartia connectivity system has multiple benefits that improve the profitability of traditional coffee machines in professional settings. Coffee cycle monitoring, and behaviour and trend studies help establishments maximise revenue. Additionally, the system incorporates predictive maintenance, facilitates remote access, and allows for more efficient procurement, thereby reducing costs.

Quality Espresso demonstrates the latest trends in specialty coffee as a sponsor of this annual conference for foodservice professionals

Barcelona (Spain) February 2019 - Quality Espresso sponsors the annual Restaurant Trends conference for professional foodservice managers, organised by Marcas Restauración this week as part of the Hospitality 4.0 Congress. As one of the largest catering industry events in the world, it showcases the latest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry, as well as the indicating future trends.

Rubén Sanz, the Coffee Expert at Quality Espresso, attended the event where he offered espresso demonstrations in search of the best results with each type of blend, appreciating their subtleties, flavours and intensities, and showcasing the excellence of well-prepared espresso coffee. The conference also presented the latest trends in specialty coffee that will allow foodservice establishments to differentiate themselves.  

The demonstrations were performed on the recently launched Futurmat Sensius model. This machine stands out for its reliability and design and is aimed at specialist hotel and catering establishments. It was specifically designed for baristas in search of the perfect espresso. It provides controlled pressure, constant and continuous output, and thermal stability, allowing for the extraction of the perfect coffee.

Quality Espresso presents the new Futurmat Sensius machine, combining durability and the latest technology with a contemporary design inspired by the Italian avant-garde

The launch of Futurmat Sensius is the result of Quality Espresso's experience and innovation. Extensive R&D preceded the release of this new machine, which stands out for its reliability and design. The new model has been well received since its release on the market. This barista-focused machine was created to achieve the perfect espresso, providing controlled water pressure, a constant and continuous output, and thermal stability for the extraction of the perfect coffee.

The design of the new Futurmat Sensius is inspired by the Italian avant-garde, with a nod to the latest European minimalist trends. Its simple and elegant lines, the combination of steel and high-quality materials on the steam taps and surfaces, and the choice of three body colours allow it to blend into any establishment, regardless of the decor.

Its main technical features include 16 colour settings for icons and the progress bar, touch keypad, insulated boiler, electric cup-warming tray, illuminated working area, quarter-turn steam taps, hot water dispenser for tea with volume and temperature programming, “Warm 2 Touch” steam wand, easy access to internal components, and a tap for manual boiler emptying.
