Quality Espresso, a leading company in the market of professional espresso coffee machines with its brands Gaggia, Futurmat and Visacrem, is boosting its focus on customers by strengthening the largest network of technical assistance points available in the market

For many hotel and catering businesses, coffee is an essential element of service that they cannot go without when there is a malfunction or maintenance required. That is why Quality Espresso is continuing to strengthen its Technical Assistance Department, a differential service featuring the greatest geographic coverage on the market with assistance points across the entire Iberian Peninsula and islands that are staffed by more than 250 specialist technicians. This allows the company to offer comprehensive service including everything from the installation of machines and grinders, adjustments, fine-tuning for the perfect coffee, installing water filters and/or purifiers, doing regular and preventive maintenance operations and even quick service for any incident with response time of between 2 and 24 hours depending on the issue.

Quality and excellence of service are key values of Quality Espresso’s Assistance Service. For that reason, and to offer comprehensive customer service, the company offers a full control panel for detailed monitoring of preventive maintenance on machines and possible incidents and repairs. This control panel is accessible remotely and can be used to keep track of all the assistance provided by type (for example: preventive actions, corrective actions, repairs, installations, etc.) and whether they are completed or open, the age of the machines installed, the geographic location of the machines and the number of service calls to each location, lists of the most common spare parts, and accurate predictions of preventive maintenance needs.

All of this is oriented towards ensuring that Gaggia, Futurmat and Visacrem customers get maximum performance from the most reliable professional espresso coffee machines on the market.

In addition to having tools for post-sales management, Quality Espresso is also seeking to enhance the personalised attention of its post-sales service. That has led the company to strengthen its immediate customer service offering by providing a Call Center available 365 days a year from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with experts on the line who can attend to any need or incident that may arise, resolving each issue with the speed required and with the support of a team of professional experts.

With these services, Quality Espresso is seeking to further differentiate itself from its competition by having the best Post-Sales Service and to reassert itself as the leading company on the market. Quality Espresso is a company with over 65 years of history that encompasses tradition and innovation, and is present in more than 90 countries.

Quality Espresso leads the Internet of Things in the coffee business with a platform providing full remote control of coffee machines

Quality Espresso, a leading company in the professional espresso coffee machine market, has made a strong commitment to implementing the IoT (Internet of Things) in the coffee business. To do so, it has developed the Smartia platform, making it possible to fully control coffee machines remotely.

Smartia’s goal is to improve the profitability of coffee businesses by leveraging the benefits of technology. The IoT is a concept that refers to connecting devices and daily objects to the Internet to be able to control them remotely. It is becoming increasingly common to purchase Internet-enabled home appliances and there is a future trend towards greater connectivity to make people’s lives easier. The Smartia platform is part of this trend and offers the tools and technology necessary to be able to control all the parameters of professional espresso coffee machines just by going online.

Smartia has many advantages for hotel and catering businesses. Smartia makes it possible to monitor the coffee consumption of every machine and understand customer behaviour and habits. This information is very useful for maximising revenue. Questions like: How many coffees have we made today? Why do I serve fewer coffees during the lunch shift? Why does one location sell more coffees than others? These indicators provided by Smartia can assist in decision-making to improve the profitability of coffee businesses.

And that’s not to mention to importance of cost control in hotel and catering businesses. Smartia can be used to facilitate and optimise planning for preventive maintenance and restocking with an eye to reducing costs. Moreover, Smartia gives you full control of the coffee machines, from geolocation to tell you where the machines are installed, to remote control of the operations, functionality and profitability of every one of them. You can perform comprehensive analysis with an intuitive control panel that lets you control all the indicators.

Quality Espresso had previously launched a first platform with remote connection, which it has now improved and named Smartia. We are witnessing a growing trend towards connectivity with estimates that there will be 6.1 billion connected users by 2020. This trend, in addition to the enormous benefits offered by connectivity, have led to the number of installations of the Smartia platform in all brands of Quality Espresso machines (Futurmat, Gaggia and Visacrem) having tripled in 2019. The company expects annual gains of over 20% in implementing the Smartia platform in its machines. This increase will be driven by the company's growth forecasts and new product launches. Smartia is a global platform that has already been installed in Quality Espresso machines in 9 countries: Spain, Portugal, Austria, Italy, France, UK, Belgium, USA, Germany.

With this project, Quality Espresso asserts its leadership in the professional espresso coffee machine market. Quality Espresso is a company with over 65 years of history that encompasses tradition and innovation, and is present in more than 90 countries.

A Premium machine that unites innovation, design and the tradition of authentic Italian espresso: L'INNOVAZIONE CHE ILLUMINA LA TRADIZIONE

Quality Espresso has launched the new top-of-the-line La Reale model under the Gaggia Milano brand, a product that combines cutting-edge technology with an elegant and sophisticated Italian design that transports us back to the 1950s.

An important part of espresso’s history was born in Milan in 1938 when the Italian barista Achille Gaggia introduced the patent that would mark a turning point in extracting the aromas and flavours of coffee, allowing the “crema” of an Italian espresso to be enjoyed for the first time. This invention revolutionised the process of making espresso, giving way to the authentic Italian tradition that spread around the world in the 1950s.

Today, the Gaggia brand is a global leader in professional coffee machines and is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year with the launch of La Reale. The sophisticated and elegant machine features a unique design with copper and steel details, a streamlined body with LED technology, and captivating lighting.

It was designed with the barista in mind and is equipped with cutting-edge technology to optimise all its features. Its main technical characteristics include individual displays for each group, a working area with LED lighting, Warm 2 Touch steam wands, ergonomic filter holders, and a hot water dispenser with programmable volume and temperature. Its 3.5” displays are used to control the programming, the configuration of different coffee doses, and the temperature and pressure during extractions, with the possibility to program 4 different drink selections on each group. It also features a “flush button” to rinse the group before each extraction and the Dynamic Flow Control for setting different pressure flow profiles during coffee extraction, making it possible to adjust the coffee on a cup-by-cup basis and to get the colour, body, acidity and sweetness of each espresso using a single blend.

La Reale offers maximum performance with excellent energy efficiency. It has separate boilers for each group, a water pre-heating system for better productivity, and insulated boilers for optimal energy savings. It also has the ECO option for even greater energy savings.

With this new product launch, Quality Espresso asserts its leadership in the professional coffee machine market. Quality Espresso is a company with over 65 years of history that encompasses tradition and innovation and is present in more than 90 countries.
