Quality Espresso has launched the new top-of-the-line La Reale model under the Gaggia Milano brand, a product that combines cutting-edge technology with an elegant and sophisticated Italian design that transports us back to the 1950s.
An important part of espresso’s history was born in Milan in 1938 when the Italian barista Achille Gaggia introduced the patent that would mark a turning point in extracting the aromas and flavours of coffee, allowing the “crema” of an Italian espresso to be enjoyed for the first time. This invention revolutionised the process of making espresso, giving way to the authentic Italian tradition that spread around the world in the 1950s.
Today, the Gaggia brand is a global leader in professional coffee machines and is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year with the launch of La Reale. The sophisticated and elegant machine features a unique design with copper and steel details, a streamlined body with LED technology, and captivating lighting.
It was designed with the barista in mind and is equipped with cutting-edge technology to optimise all its features. Its main technical characteristics include individual displays for each group, a working area with LED lighting, Warm 2 Touch steam wands, ergonomic filter holders, and a hot water dispenser with programmable volume and temperature. Its 3.5” displays are used to control the programming, the configuration of different coffee doses, and the temperature and pressure during extractions, with the possibility to program 4 different drink selections on each group. It also features a “flush button” to rinse the group before each extraction and the Dynamic Flow Control for setting different pressure flow profiles during coffee extraction, making it possible to adjust the coffee on a cup-by-cup basis and to get the colour, body, acidity and sweetness of each espresso using a single blend.
La Reale offers maximum performance with excellent energy efficiency. It has separate boilers for each group, a water pre-heating system for better productivity, and insulated boilers for optimal energy savings. It also has the ECO option for even greater energy savings.
